MARINE OUTFALL PIPELINE FOR DISTILLERY EFFLUENT DISPOSAL INTO NEARBY ESTUARY FOR KHEMANI DISTILLERS LTD.

Project:

Turnkey implementation of marine outfall scheme for safe disposal of treated spent wash from distillery units.

Location of disposal:  Daman ganga estuary, Daman.

 Scheme: Submarine pipeline connecting onshore pipeline at Land Fall Point to the multi-port diffuser  installed in the estuary.

 Salient features:

•   Special lateral anchoring system to safeguard submarine pipeline from high current
    during floods.

•   Special C.I vertebra armours for HDPE pipeline in tidal zone as anti-sabotage measures.

•    Special ‘Y’ type multi-port diffuser erected in mid stream ensures adequate dilution of the
    treated spent wash.
