Plant Capacity:     100 cubic meter /day to 1400 cubic meter/day.

Process Adopted: Upflow Anaerobic Hydromethane Reaction
                               Process followed by extended aeration.

Raw Waste:           BOD>2000 mg/l, Oil & Fats > 1000 mg/ l,
                               ph=5 to 8

Treated Water: BOD < 10 mg/l, Oil & Fats <6 mg/l, pH=5.5 to 9.0

Recoveries:       Methane gas , reusable water and sludge as manure, power generaton by Bio-gas engine

Benefits:            Power generated (64kw) for operating the plant and for lighting .Cost of plant recovered in less
                           than one year, Saving in fresh water consumption due to recycle of water for washing etc-300
                           to 500 cubic meter per day. 50% reduction of land requirement, 75% lower power
                           consumption , 50% sludge production and 60% lower capital cost compared to conventional
                           treatment process.
